WorkBuddy: From Zero to Delivered Results
Hand everyday office work to Tencent WorkBuddy: documents, slides, data analysis and remote work.
Path goal

Who it's forοΌOffice workers, ops and PMs who write docs and decks
-
Step 1: Meet WorkBuddy
Understand how it differs from a chat bot: give one instruction, and it plans, executes and delivers finished files. Learn which tasks it handles well.
π‘ Focus on two things: deliverable files and availability across desktop, web and mobile.
-
Step 2: Install and tour the UI
Install the desktop app, sign in, and learn the task list, @ file references, / commands, mode switch and permission settings.
π‘ Grant access to a single test folder first, then widen permissions once you trust the behaviour.
-
Step 3: Finish your first task
Run one small request end to end: state the goal, add constraints, watch it plan, review intermediate results and accept the output.
π‘ Write requirements as goal + format + reference material + acceptance criteria.
-
Step 4: Slides and documents
Hand over the two most time-consuming jobs: turning an outline into editable slides, and writing structured docs like weekly reports and READMEs.
- Generate a Deck From One Prompt: From Brief to Boardroom
- Writing Weekly Reports, Proposals and Tech Docs with WorkBuddy
π‘ Give it a past deliverable you like as a style sample instead of repeatedly asking for a more professional tone.
-
Step 5: Data analysis and batch files
Upload spreadsheets for cleaning, stats and charts, or batch-process local files: rename, convert and archive by rule.
- Data Analysis with WorkBuddy: Clean, Chart and Conclude
- Batch File Handling: Organize, Rename and Convert Automatically
π‘ Back up the folder first and have it trial the rule on a small sample.
-
Step 6: Mobile remote work and automation
Use the mobile app or WeChat mini program to drive your desktop remotely, then schedule recurring tasks with results pushed to WeCom.
π‘ Trial scheduled tasks in a small group for a week before rolling them out.
